Bio: The only version

Pauline English spent her early years in South Africa, where witchdoctors and muti were as commonplace as green mambas in your avo tree. She left the cradle of humanity for the industrial and cultural revolution that is London and enjoyed discovering gothic horror and punk mayhem. She currently lives in the fresh new land of New Zealand, where she works from a studio overlooking a cherry blossom tree and black swans on fiction that hovers on the borders of reality and the surreal.
She uses the name Pix English for speculative fiction about imaginary cultures in worlds with long, made-up names that potentially posit gadgets of the future.
This little corner of the web is reserved for fiction, tall tales of wonder based in fantastical realms. Are you ready?
